India Jordan’s For You is a delightful record, one that both takes the pulse of the UK’s club scene (pre-COVID-19) and also speaks of the producer’s personal journey. For You is at once uptempo and contemplative, exuberant and slightly melancholy. A huge array of dancefloor styles are deftly blended here - beginning with the stomping disco-house banger ‘I’m Just (Waiting 4 U)’, these six tracks move through melodic post-grime mutations akin to Murlo, revivalist jungle and a sort of rose-tinted take on happy hardcore.
