Rephlex Records veteran Ed Upton aka DMX Krew joins Breakin Records for the second part of his Synth Funk series, once again infusing his old school productions with fresh jazz and funk flavours. Dogg Fungk sees him churn out some strong melodies: the playful synth lines of ‘Squid Hunt’, ‘Anotha Tyme’ and ‘Starry Night’ namely tell their very own story, and on come his trademark wobbly bass lines: this is the master at his electro funk best.
