Nail’s 1993 joint Cassiopeia is a classic of both early Warp Records and early 90s rave culture as a whole. Over ten sprawling minutes the track invokes an atmosphere pitched somewhere between the ecstasies of trance and the more dreamy drift of The Orb’s early material. This new Klasse Wrecks drop focuses not on Nail’s original but a new tooling of the track by Luca Lozano. Housed in a very dope orange sleeve and issued alongside an equally fetching poster, Lozano tweaks rather than overhauls the Nail original - the twinkling synths and pacing bassline remain, but the drums just have a dash more bite to them this time around.
