True to form as ever, WRWTFWW Records dip into their magic bag of the past and pull out another forgotten classic of impressionistic composition. This reissue of Japanese jazz bassist Motohiko Hamase’s 1988 bucolic masterpiece #Notes Of Forestry toes the blurry lines between jazz fusion and modern classical, released during the golden age of Japanese ambient music. This melting pot of influences result in an LP as vibrant as it is complexly meditative.
