Beppe Loda, alongside Danielli Baldelli, was one of pioneering DJs that championed the 'Afro-Cosmic' sound in the 70s and 80s.  The Italian club that he DJed at, Typhoon, was renowned for playing the most obscure and diverse selection of records - a wild, futuristic fusion of new wave, percussive world music, German electronics, and chugging disco. His perfectly segued mixes were traded on tapes by underground music fans, forging his cult status.

This compilation focuses on the more electronic side end of Beppe Loda's sound, with obscure minimal synth, early industrial, post punk, and krautrock.
