After almost a decade of waiting for Yotam Avni’s debut LP to drop, the album finally arrives - and via Kompakt, no less. This is a set of crisp and emotive tech-house from the Israeli producer, the sort of stuff which slots in so well alongside new labelmates like Robag Wruhme and Michael Mayer. Little flecks of jazz bring additional colour to tracks such as ‘Nature Of Dreams’ and ‘Thoughts’, while a cut like ‘Free Darius Now’ weds steady beat programming to lush textures which one could almost describe as ambient.
