Furi sees Exael and Arad Acid unite for a strange set of techno-ambiences and ultra-leftfield beat tracks. Both artists contribute two solo productions apiece here as well as linking up on three joints. Whether they are working separately or together, the pair direct their energy into creating either hanging-gardens drones (‘My Love Is An Extension Of You’) or glitching, stumbling loops that hover on the edge of the dancefloor (‘Dex’, ‘Torqued Light’). Ghostride The Drift, the trio Exael forms with Huerco S and uon, are a good point of comparison.
