Returning to Dust World for the label’s third release, producer Dust-e-1 sets a course for deep space pastoralism with The Cool Dust EP. ‘Pure Down’ begins in earnest with microscopic rhythmic wanderings before unfolding into a melody lifted from a space station film scene, while ‘Hutchin’ sets a space funk rhythm going that endures throughout ‘The Pink Tree’, quickening its pace for the acid-loving ‘Enthusion’.
