Kassel Jaeger and Jim O’Rourke join forces once more for a record of experimental drones. In Cobalt Aura Sleeps is not dissimilar to Wakes On Cerulean, the collaborative LP that the pair put out in 2017. Like that record, this one features two unbroken sides of music which morph through anti-ambiences that are sometimes soothing, sometimes unsettling.
