Ever the searching experimentalists on the outskirts of melodic noise and alternative electronica, the unique approaches of Cucina Povera (Maria Rossi) and Haron (Haron Aumaj) coalesce on Plafond 6. Rossi adeptly plies her voice to hitherto unthinkable modern folk shapes across Haron’s discordant ambiences on the three-part mega-suite ‘Riffittelya’ I-III, while each individual artist performs their own individual delicate balances between chaos and order on the closing numbers.
