Episodes mark their ninth release with a hefty slice of spacey bleep. Ike Release aka Ike Velez follows up some stellar experimental house and techno cuts on Mister Saturday Night Records and Northside ’82 with the buoyant Prophecies EP. These three tracks showcase Mr Release’s adept skill at finding the depth in a deceptively simple beat, and plenty of the spatial sensibility to make it ring out.
