Following up 2019’s breakout banger EP ‘Metamorphosis’, minimal techno wizard Tracey returns with ‘Microdancer’. The four tracks of the EP live up to their collective title, Tracey’s astute sensibility for crafting cerebral beats from the slightest of means elevating tracks like ‘Ubik’ and ‘Gretzoid’ to minimal bliss. The title track is a no nonsense driving electro number, while ‘Lanthana’ easily proves to be Tracey’s most abstract beat yet.
