Well Street Records’ second installment of their run of Various Artists EPs furthers their reputation as purveyors of the most delicate house and techno. Labels like Smallville, Church and Livity Sound are invoked by the deft grooves served up by Box 5ive, Keppel, Henry Greenleaf and Formant Value here. The middle of the record steers closer to Bristolian soundsystem stylings while the other two joints extrapolate outwards into that same dubwise fog where Adrian Sherwood lurks.
