With such an esteemed pedigree within various outposts in the UK underground, it’s no wonder that Time Travel seems to occupy many vectors all at once; you’ve got nauseating dub plunderphonics with the title track, deep house forays on ‘Eat Grass’, sub-noise patter all over ‘Your Workings’, and finally, pitch black techno on ‘Not Buoyant’. To call Stewart a singular voice doesn’t begin to cover it.
