Yokohama-based producer, beat maker and enfant terrible of house and electronic music Foodman lands on Highball Records, and naturally, he puts all his competitors to shame. As always, the busyness of footwork and juke permeate DOKUTSU (especially where the madcap percussion antics of ‘Oshiro’ and ‘Konomi’ are concerned) but this LP demonstrates Foodman’s uncanny sense for weaving utterly unique atmospherics in an airier, eerier vein.
