Crikey, best strap yourself in for this one. Lizzitsky wasn’t lying in titling this record MOLTO CRUDO - there’s not much in the way of subtlety across these seven pieces of chewed-up gabber, hardcore and trance (six on the vinyl). There’s something about the disorienting barrage of beats on tracks like ‘Dark Millennium DJ Tool’ which recalls Endgame, while at its harshest - ‘UMS 303 Liquid Mix’, for instance’ - MOLTO CRUDO resembles something released on Power Vacuum. A fitting first drop for Gabber Eleganza’s new Never Sleep label.
