Soundsystem Presents: Transmission Two broadens the already widened scope of its inaugural volume with the same flawless mix sensibilities applied to hidden gems in ambient, electro, dub house, disco and library music forms. Bookended by Carl Craig’s hard-to-find stomper ‘C Beams Glitter’ and a vocal snippet from actor Jeff Bridges layered atop Keefus Ciancia’s sound design — not unlike a snippet from the Late Night Tales series — this compilation travels leaps and bounds seamlessly along jams by Bochum Welt, Hit Man and Hirini Melbourne.
