Scottish DJ and producer Creep Woland returns to Astral Black for more genre agnostic beats. While 2017’s Close Reading mined hip-hop strains, Chamberlain EP is a work of impure and complex breakbeat strangeness, as Woland reawakens prehistoric ghouls on ‘0800 Falkirk Triangle’ and more contemporary spirits of modern dance floors on ‘Imposter Syndrome’ and ‘Lord Chamberlain’. There’s more untapped magic in him yet.
