Two tracks apiece from DJ.Booth and Walrus on new EP Listen To The Basic Moves. The former delivers perky and sonorous club tackle on the A-side - ‘defaulted (industry)’ is a buoyant techno jam in the vein of Ciel while the stargazing broken-beat electro of ‘the door’ nods to Roza Terenzi. Walrus offers up slightly slower, slightly prettier takes, with the tender ‘Free City Lights’ reminding one of DJ Python over a 4x4 beat. All proceeds from sales of Listen To The Basic Moves will go to Liaison Anti-prohibitioniste.
