Soul Jazz Records take a break from dropping top-quality to reissues to present us with a bonafide new album. Trees Speak’s Ohms is a post-Krautrock record, one that rides the same neo-kosmische wave as Craven Faults. However, where Craven Faults suffuse their work with the moody landscapes of northern England, Trees Speak’s native Arizona gives the billowing synths and Tangerine Dream-adjacent keys of this LP a kind of peyote-hazed quality.
