With a name like Square Fauna, these St. Petersburg natives nail the central nature of their sound’ delightfully digitised, yet still squishy and organic. Their debut, fittingly named Meet The Fauna, brings to mind the score to a sci-fi film that doesn’t exist, but should, as amorphous electronic shapes flit between restless movement and ambient bliss in a delightfully human fashion.
