Pinballing off the back of another distant planet, 2019’s Love Beyond The Intersect, Space Dimension Controller — otherwise known as Mr. 8040 — sets his deep space disco shuttle for the stranger shores of Planète Contraire, via Dekmantel. The track swaggers in a way unheard within Space Dimension Controller’s repertoire, name checking vintage electro in addition to his unequivocal depth of field. By contrast, b side ‘2 Synths & An 808’ showcases a more minimal sensibility.
