Lucky little label Philthtrax releases the first 12” in 18 years by enigmatic techno experimentalist Cryogenetic. Back In Time picks up where the legend become solidified all those years ago with four previously unreleased cuts of pure synapse-flashing goodness. We start tentatively with the crusted synth stabs of ‘Swept Away’, gradually unfurling into a digitised acid landscape, simmered down with the glimmering ‘Othacide’. ‘Back In Time’ chops and changes the clean tones for a gnarly outing, as ‘Computer being’ goes hard alongside a meaning vocoder sample.
