D Tiffany and Vani-T join forces as Pillow Queen for an EP of sultry fourth-world techno tools. The two Pillow Queen originals here, ‘Byron’s Theme’ and ‘Estrel Nights’, both thump away nicely, their low-ends thick with technoid bass and slamming kicks. Above these we get the sort of hazy, half-heard atmospherics that we also find in D Tiffany’s solo work. Ex-Terrestrial ups the ante on his remix of the title-track, injecting some of Luke Slater’s seasick minimal stylings into the mix.
