Steve Rutter of cult techno innovators B12 teams up with London-based vocalist and songwriter Bryonii for a lascivious musical journey fit to further their sonic adventure together. Having garnered studio experience an intensely creative period, their debut on FireScope Records StarCrossed harkens back to its future-past trip hop descendants — think Portishead and Tricky, but also think of Grimes or Twigs as among their contemporaries — pairing esoteric percussion and bass-heavy DnB interjections with sci-fi sound design with breathy wistfulness.
