Berlin’s Torsten Pröfrock aka T++ takes a look back to the beginning of his career in the mid 90s for Applebim’s own Apple Pips Recordings. Being active in the local electronic music scene for almost two decades under various monikers such as Erosion or Dynamo, Pröfrock has developed a distinct production style that clearly bears the hallmarks of the German capital. He created Audio 1995#8 by re-editing original 1995 live jams with Ableton Live – the result is a straight A-side with reverberant snares, seething in its sub-heavy spheres, whereas the slowed-down breakbeat of the B-side shows the more experimental side to his production.
