Melbourne, Australia duo CS + Kreme — that’s Conrad Standish and Sam Karmel — have multiple musician credits to their names. The fact that their debut full-length Snoopy so irreverently transcends each individual figure’s post-punk sensibilities is an achievement to be celebrated. Beginning with ‘Saint’, the LP blossoms into a slow-motion cross-pollination of icy ambient textures, chillingly distant and sparse vocal deliveries and swampy electronic dirges.
