Glaswegian producer DSG delivers his latest set of trancy techno tools via the Palais De Danse imprint. PDD003 follows in the footsteps of DSG’s fellow Scots Clouds and Neil Landstrumm by going for maximal rollers that are at once cheeky, hard and melodious. There is a hint of happy hardcore in the synths of ‘She Gurned Out OK’ and ‘Balancing Act’, though the unyielding four-to-the-floor kicks always bring the tracks back into techno territory.
