Experimental producer and erstwhile Dean Blunt collaborator Inga Copeland returns as Lolina for another searching record of beguiling not-quite electronic, not-quite house exercises. Who Is Experimental Music? Isn’t as concerned as with the ‘who’ as it is the ‘how’; how, Copeland appears to ask, to set a dancefloor ablaze with little more than a vocal beatbox let loose? That’s ‘Let go’ and ‘Good or bad’, two extended flexes of her mind-expanding minimalism which carry her through the duration of Who Is Experimental Music?, and indeed sends her singular left field craft down into the nitty-gritty of circadian rhythms.
