Kahn’s ‘Dread’ has become one of the producer’s most enduring tracks since it first emerged back in 2012. The deep dubstep joint has proven fertile ground for remixers down the years, a trend that continues on this new EP. Dubkasm deliver a quartet of new ‘Dread’ versions here, each of which infuse the original with a variety of old-school dub flavours while also maintaining the driving bassweight of Kahn’s production. The third dub, for instance, incorporates a piano vamp while the second is flecked with eerie, delay-drenched steel drums. Mind you, whichever one you pick, all four of these will shake the dance to its foundations.
