Following up their 2019 full-length No Treasure But Hope, UK indie rock innovators Tindersticks muse a little longer with See My Girls. ‘See My Girls’, the longest and most enchanting track on No Treasure But Hope and the focal point of this EP, finds Tindersticks in uncommonly theatrical form; a struck triangle amps the tension as Stuart A. Staples’ Fagin-like delivery ponders to breaking point. Similarly, ‘A Street Walker’s Carol’ comes off like Ennio Morricone with its western-twang harmonica.
