Not a great deal is known about Tassilo Vanhöfen. That’s alright - if you were making music this good then you’d be happy to let the music do the talking as well. Vanhöfen’s Neubau EP War Manual Of Gear presents a trio of hypnotic techno tunes. All of these cuts hover at around the 100-bpm mark, and this slow tempo allows the psychedelic strains of their bubbling modulars and trailing melodies to really take hold.
