Hyperidiocracy is an LP of abrasive and hostile club weapons from LDWG. Industrial techno is the core style of this record. One can discern the influence of labels like Hospital Productions and L.I.E.S. on tracks such as ‘Tullamore's Misanthropy’ and ‘Windwall’, whose distorted tones seem to be trying to rip a hole in the monitors so that LDWG can grab you and drag you through to the other side. Ghosts of dub-techno, trance, electro and the Birmingham school can also be found haunting the corners of this imposing, memorable LP.
