Mixing Colours and brothers on this new EP from Roger and Brian Eno. Those who are familiar with the work of the slightly-less-well-known Roger Eno will be aware that this pair shares more than just DNA, with Roger and Brian both significant figures in the development of ambient music. The former’s style tends more towards proto-minimalist piano pieces - think Erik Satie and Claude Debussy - and on Mixing Colours his spare keyboards are threaded through Brian’s contemplative soundscapes to mesmerising effect.
