Back in 2012, when Mndsgn was just beginning to make a name for himself, the producer known to his friends as Ringgo Ancheta released an ultra-limited beattape entitled ObliqueKitchn. Fast-forward to the present day and ObliqueKitchn now receives a wider release befitting the rise in Mndsgn’s stock over the past eight years. ObliqueKitchn’s leftfield hip-hop instrumentals hit that sweet-spot between lush and lo-fi in the manner we’ve now come to expect from Ancheta productions.
