Originally conceived anonymously by former Throbbing Gristle and Coil member Peter “Sleazy” Christopherson and affiliate remixer Danny Hyde, Electric Sewer Age’s Contemplating Nothingness grounds itself in esoteric psychedelia, utilising all the benefits of studio production; audio sampling, processed beats, and dream-like depth.
