Loke Rahbek and Frederik Valentin’s 2017 LP Buy Corals Online was one of that year’s more beautiful electronic records, an album in which the Posh Isolation mainstays left power electronics behind to create more tender synthetic compositions. They repeat the trick on new collaborative LP Elephant, a record which moves between beatific synth-drone ala Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, synthetic compositions in the Vangelis vein, musique concrete numbers and kosmische. It makes for a wondrous and lovely listen.
