“It’s past and future”; so says the enigmatic voices behind Reflections In A Rearview Mirror. Founded in 1983 in Columbus, Ohio by Bob Katt, soon to morph into a fully-fledged group, Dark Arts was conceived less as a band than as an art project akin to Faust. Donning anything that could make a desirable noise — be it a percussive object, a synth wash, a growling chainsaw — Reflections In A Rearview Mirror defies musical and genre boundaries in search of a collective experience in sound.
