The mix here is a mix of funky, previously known as funky house, but with changes that have meant that the house bit has become less relevant,as funky is a hybrid genre that captures ex grime producers making tracks, with Africanised rhythms, more dread bass, broken beat and garage to create something that with new elements and old elements mixed together.

It's good time music, for those urban Londoners who found grime to aggressive, not girl friendly enough and dubstep too stoned and dark.

The mix here crosses alot of elements you'll recognize, ex grime producers like Geeneus as well as ex garage producers and younger more grime influenced producers are having a go, creating quietly innovative, infectious music.
