Mhysa continues to develop her radical vision for pop on new LP Nevaeh. As was the case on her 2017 LP fantasii, many of these tracks bring R&B, trap and the Philadelphia club style that Mhysa indulges in as part of Scraaatch under the artist’s spell (her Scraaatch collaborator lawd knows also contributes to several cuts here). At points the record is also engulfed by drone and noise, choices that bring Nevaeh into the orbit of fellow Hyperdub artists Klein and Babyfather.
