A remix album / Mixtape project by SONAE, featuring original works by: AGF, BLINT, DEREK PIOTR, KATSUNORI SAWA, KELLI ALI, MIMICOF, NATALIE TBZ BERIDZE, NOKUIT, PHASENMENSCH, ZOË MC PHERSON.

Described as “Forest Techno”, Cologne based artist, producer and DJ, Sonae follows her acclaimed sophomore album ‘I Started Wearing Black’ - Monika Enterprise (2018) with a unique interpretive album project of remixes and reworkings.

While these reworkings exist as ten individual remixes (as issued on the digital edition of the album), the collection has been especially recomposed as two continuous 30 minute “Mixtape Suites” with additional original music & improvisations by Sonae to merge the reworkings together for the physical cassette edition. Making for two very distinctive and unique experiences, depending on the format.
