Two CD special edition of these two early releases from two bands who would later go on to form the core of the US doom scene through bands such as Sunn O))), Khanate, Goatsnake, Asva and more. The two albums show display the early doom techniques of downtuned drone, harrowing vocals and heavy spaced out guitar. Like Black Sabbath on downers or a blacker more artfully spaced version of English doomers like Electric Wizard.
