Ghost force themselves in the direction of the doom metal brigade, in their most aggressive album to date. They still retain a certain amount of the medieval troubadour psychedelia of previous albums but totally harness a really brutal soundscape of perilous guitars and anguished vocals to the mix. Truly Epic.
