Hefty Move D / Workshop vinyl repress for Autumn 2015. This three tracker was originally marked up way back in 2009 and now resurfaces on the black stuff in a blaze of Theo Parrish style-glory. Track 1: muted disco samples, held in a groovy longeur, bounce off a Moodymann shuffle. Track 2: fizzing 4/4 percussion blocks get filthy with a Sly Stone Rhodes lick that tickles the ears in a psychedelic blur. Track 3: downright sleazy mover this, downbeat jazz-funk gone to Berlin on the overnight train, smoking cigarettes and drinking cognac, all the way. Straight-up Classic Workshop tackle that needs to be consumed loud on vinyl, pronto!
