Forest Drive West’s music has become slower and deeper of late, a fact that makes the producer teaming up with Copenhagen dub-techno label Echocord less of a surprise than it would have been a couple of years back. With its loping groove and delay-drenched minor chord loop Parallel Space opener ‘Creation Dub’ certainly fits in nicely to a label catalogue that also includes Brendon Moeller and Rod Modell. The two other Forest Drive West originals here bridge the gap between this style and the producer’s drops on Whities and Livity Sound while Conforce gets into the spirit of things on his dubby ‘Parallel Space’ remix.
