Super Sound Tool may be a new label, but their ethos is clear and strong - the press release for Super Sound Tool 1 proclaims the release an ‘Approved, properly executed DJ tool Techno for real DJs’. SST make good on this promise with two slices of dark, hard techno, one from Mode-1 and the other courtesy of Duncan Macdonald. Both tracks nod to the Birmingham techno sound of the 90s as well as recent work from Silent Servant and Phase Fatale.
