Oto Hiax, the collaborative project of Mark Clifford (Seefeel) and Scott Gordon (Loops Haunt), return to Editions Mego with their second LP. Helpfully titled Two, this latest offering from the duo sees them disappearing deeper down the rabbit hole of electroacoustic composition, dark ambiences and modern musique concrete. At its most foreboding Two nods to Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement and Shapednoise, whereas the more utopian sound of a track like ‘Strain’ draws from Carl Stone.
