John T. Gast delivers his latest slice of bassweight science via his own 5 Gate Temple imprint. Two versions of ‘Kings X’ are included here. The original is a rolling, eerie hybrid of anarcho-dub and dub-techno, while the extended mix has more of a dubstep flavour to it - particularly in its crashing drums and snaking melodies. Both takes come fleshed out by some thick, rollicking sub bass designed for the biggest speaker stacks.
