At this juncture, who can say exactly how many releases the Austin, Texas sonic provocateur Shit & Shine has under his belt. Some say 40, some say more. This we know: NO NO NO NO is his 29th on OOH-sounds, and he shows no signs of letting up. The LP is soaked with playfulness scarcely attributed to any music in any genre. Hip hop beats emit from barely-controlled noise, and clipped voice samples help narrate a most surreal kind of art.
