Coming across like ESG, mixed with a touch of Peaches, or a more DIY lady !!!, CSS are a hotly tipped Brazillian girl band, with DIY funk, synth pop, big bass guitar and disco drums to edge up the glamour, and lots of naive sexy teen lyrics. This lot are being pushed up by the (undefined, N.M.E Coopted new rave to ecstatic status.

The fact that it sounds like a tidier, updated version of any number of post-punk girl bands, or that this kind of stuff was being made a few years ago (Rapture, Peaches, Har Mar Superstar) but never really made the grade doesn't really matter as it's got alot of charm and sparkly, spunky glamour, and at the end of the day it might just be timing.In comparison to any number of dull, average moaning emo/indie bands out there, and with funny lyrics like 'lick my art tit, suck my arthole', this stuff seems in 2006 like a big breath of fresh air.
